Poised is a response to a brief set by Chesterfield (UK) based, contract furniture manufacturers, Nova Interiors.

 

Designed for mass production and ease of assembly, Poised is an occasional table, aimed toward high-end hospitality establishments, complementing Nova’s existing soft seating range.

 

Poised' inverted-leg support system, created by its steel frame, not only eases use but also adds a sense of energy and life to its form. As if an insect poised before flight. Only glimpses of this feature can be seen due to the tables’ low-lying proportions, which in turn creates a communal, free flowing environment, ideal for the hospitality industry.

 

Although structurally complex, Poised is made from simple, easily mass produced components. These are joined by, standard, off-the-shelf fixings that require only basic tools for ease of on-site assembly.
